WBTV ups Hage to programming exec VP

Elevation follows Rovner's bump up to development exec VP

Warner Bros. TV has put the finishing touches on its recent executive shuffle, upping Melinda Hage to exec vice president of current programming.

Hage’s elevation comes following Susan Rovner’s bump up to exec VP of development. Both Hage and Rovner replace WBTV’s Leonard Goldstein, who’s moving on to head up Josh Schwartz’s and Stephanie Savage’s Fake Empire shingle starting in June.

Hage reports to Warner Bros. TV prexy Peter Roth, who announced the promotion on Tuesday.

Roth said Hage’s work has proven her to be an “invaluable asset” for Warner Bros. TV.

“She is an exceptional leader and has done an outstanding job in building a strong current programming team for our series,” Roth said.

Hage will continue her duties overseeing the creative aspects of Warner Bros. TV’s current series — repping more than 20 scripted series in broadcast and cable, including “Two and a Half Men,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Chuck” and “The Closer.”

Hage also oversees the studio’s current programming execs.

Exec has been with Warner Bros. TV since 1994, and most recently served as senior VP of current programming. Her resume also includes stints at Columbia Pictures Television and Viacom Prods.
