Warner Bros. TV Group has tapped Jay Levine to serve as vice president of business planning.
In his newly-created position, Levine will work with Warner Bros. TV group management and its business development and strategic planning department, looking at potential acquisitions and other new business.
Levine joins the company from Disney, where he worked inside the Mouse’s corporate strategy and business development group.
Hire was announced by Warner Bros. TV Group prexy Bruce Rosenblum. In his new job, Levine will work closely with Warner Bros. TV Group exec VP Craig Hunegs.
“As we plan for growth in production and distribution as well as expand on our core creative expertise, Jay brings a fresh perspective, strong business skills and great instincts to our business,” Hunegs said. “He has quickly become a valued member of our team.”
