Banks’ Gotham-based shingle has expanded significantly in recent years. It recently launched the Bankable Books imprint for young-adult fare, in partnership with Random House, and it has an active TV and digital production operation.

“My goal has always been to make Bankable a first-in-class global company that builds businesses that support my core mission, expanding the definition of beauty,” Banks said in announcing Vien’s appointment.
