Syfy, which recently underwent a major rebranding, has upped its two top marketers.
Cabler has named Blake Callaway as its senior VP of marketing, brand and strategic, while Michael Engleman is now senior VP of marketing, global brand strategy and creative.
Both execs report to Syfy prexy Dave Howe, who announced the promotions on Tuesday.
Michael and Blake are strong leaders whose branding and marketing expertise have helped drive Syfy to record-breaking growth since the successful launch of our new brand evolution,” Howe said.
Callaway previously served as VP of brand marketing, having led the Syfy brand since 2005. He’ll now also oversee the marketing initiatives that include ad revenue and partnerships.
Engleman first joined Syfy in 2008 as VP and creative director. He’ll add oversight to Syfy’s brand internationally; the channel is set to expand into more than 50 territories this year.
Engleman’s resume includes a stint at CMT, while Callaway’s credits include ad agencies such as Merkley and Partners and Lopez Negrete.
