NBC rollout traditional schedule

Net to bow nearly every fall show during premiere week

Like the other major broadcasters, NBC plans to bow virtually all of its fall series during TV’s premiere week.

The network announced its new season roll-out plans on Thursday, as did FX, which is looking to get a jump on the fall broadcast competish.

NBC kicks off this year’s jam-packed premiere week Monday, Sept. 20, with “Chuck” and newcomers “The Event” and Chase.” Then, on Tuesday, “The Biggest Loser” and “Parenthood” return.

Peacock’s Wednesday sked — newcomers “Undercovers” and “Law and Order: Los Angeles” and vet “Law and Order: SVU” — clocks in on Sept. 22.

Thursday’s laffer lineup — “Community,” “30 Rock,” “The Office” and newcomer “Outsourced” — joins “The Apprentice” for a return date of Sept. 23.

One night later, “School Pride,” “Dateline NBC” and “Outlaw” are all on board.

NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” sked begins on Thursday, Sept. 9, with a special Vikings-Saints showcase, while the high-rated franchise officially returns to Sundays on Sept. 12 with Cowboys-Redskins.

As for FX, the cabler said its fall schedule would kick off Tuesday, Sept. 7, with the third-season bow of “Sons of Anarchy” at 10. Then, the following night, Shawn Ryan’s new drama “Terriers” bows at 10.

FX then brings back its comedy skeins “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “The League” on Thursday, Sept. 16. The sixth season of “Sunny” airs at 10 p.m., followed by the second season of “The League” at 10:30 p.m.
