Murphy, who helmed “Eat Pray Love,” earned an Emmy last month for directing the pilot of “Glee.” His other credits include “Nip/Tuck” and “Popular.”

Murphy’s participation is through his four-year, eight-figure deal with 20th, sealed earlier this year.

Gordon is in the midst of an overall deal at 20th through his Teakwood Lane shingle.
