MTV has promoted Chris Linn to exec veep of production, continuing to report to programming prexy Tony DiSanto.
Linn will help MTV design and execute the net’s strategy in development, talent deals, production and programming, while also heading development and production of original movies.
“Chris has an amazingly eclectic skill set and talent to bridge both the creative and logistics of content creation across a wide array of formats,” DiSanto said of Linn’s background in animation, reality, scripted TV and films.
Linn’s MTV Networks career began in 1990 as a series production manager
based at Nickelodeon Studios Florida. Since 2006, he has been senior veep of production, series development and animation.
