Bravo has promoted Eli Lehrer to VP of development.
Lehrer, who will relocate from Gotham to Los Angeles, will identify series concepts and characters for the NBC Universal cabler.
“Eli’s a thoughtful executive with a keen eye on what’s happening culturally,” said Andy Cohen, senior VP of original programming and development. “His knack for discovering innovative concepts and talent has contributed to the success of some of Bravo’s biggest pop culture hits over the past years.”
Under Lehrer’s watch, Bravo has aired reality skeins “Flipping Out,” “The Real Housewives of New York City,” “The Rachel Zoe Project” and “The Real Housewives of D.C.” The net is set to preem the “D.C.” spinoff Aug. 5.
Prior to Bravo, Lehrer was manager of East Coast development for VH1.
