Golf Channel to air ‘Caddy for Life’

Documentary adapts John Feinstein bestseller

Golf Channel will air a documentary adapted from John Feinstein’s bestselling book “Caddy for Life: The Bruce Edwards Story,” to air June 14.

“Caddy” depicts the relationship between golfing legend Tom Watson and Edwards, his caddy for 30 years who died in 2004 of Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

“Bruce Edwards, whose story may be unknown to many sports fans, was well loved and respected in the world of golf,” said Golf VP of programming and original productions Keith Allo.

Among those interviewed by Feinstein for the documentary besides Watson are Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Jim “Bones” Mackay (Phil Mickelson’s caddy) and Edwards’ widow, Marsha.
