Style orders ‘Tacky House’

Home-makeover show to debut in spring

Cabler Style has greenlit home-makeover series “Tacky House” and is readying it for a spring debut.

Style has ordered 10 episodes. Seven come in at a half-hour, while three of the episodes — including the premiere and season finale — will run 60 minutes.

Hosted by Thom Filicia (“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”), “Tacky House” will examine homes that have disastrous decor and determine if they can be refurbished into something a bit more tasteful. Drama ensues when homeowners disagree with a panel of experts and believe their residences are a thing of beauty.

Skein is produced by Lynchpin Prods. and exec produced by Rob Eric, Michael Williams, Michael Hauser and Sarah Weidman.
