MTV remains tight-lipped about negotiations with the cast for a second season of “Jersey Shore,” but it looks as though Snooki and Co. will be returning for another go-around.
Personalities from the show have been making the media rounds and have indicated they’re prepping for a new season. Negotiations with the cabler have been tense and net supposedly doubled its offer to $10,000 per episode, a relatively cheap price for what the show is bringing to the net via press and ad revenue.
Final season one episode of “Jersey Shore” averaged 4.8 million viewers and the buzzworthy skein has been a much-needed savior for MTV, which has gone through hard times recently.
Net would like to get the Situation and the rest of the Garden State crew back on the air in summer, if possible.
