Daytime talkshow will bow this fall in six markets
NBC is prepping a daytime yakker, “Access Hollywood Live,” to bow as a strip this fall on Peacock O&Os in New York, L.A., Chicago and three other markets.
The hourlong talkshow, to air live from Los Angeles, will feature a mix of guests, celebrity dish and gossip and lifestyle segments. There’s no word yet on a host or hosts for the show.
Series will be produced by the “Access Hollywood” crew, headed by exec producer Rob K. Silverstein. NBC is expected to shop the show to selected non-O&O stations. But it may hold off on a full-blown syndie clearance push until the show is on the air.
In addition to the top three markets, “Access Hollywood Live” will air on NBC O&Os in San Francisco, San Diego and Hartford, Conn.
