Cabler adds second season to reality series
TLC has given a second-season order to reality skein “Hoarding: Buried Alive.”
Net has ordered nine episodes of the series, which is currently in production. First season, which averaged 1.5 million viewers per episode, ends Sunday.
“Hoarding” has been a popular subject on cable this year. A&E’s “Hoarders,” which just concluded its second season, has been a hit for the net.
In each episode of the TLC series, two extreme hoarders struggle to battle the uncontrollable behavior that threatens to destroy their lives. Therapists work with them to try and get to the bottom of their illness.
Discovery Studios produces. Robin Sestero is exec producer.
