Herb Daniel has been named as senior veep of domestic operations for Paramount Home Entertainment. Daniel will be responsible for overseeing the unit’s supply chain operations, manufacturing and distribution. Daniel comes to Par from EMI, where he most recently served as senior VP of North America supply chain.
Nickelodeon has also upped Antonious Porch to senior VP and deputy general counsel for digital media, global licensing and ancillary businesses for the Nickelodeon and MTV Networks Kids and Family Group. Porch was previously senior veep of business and legal affairs for the unit. Also promoted at Nickelodeon is Lourdes Arocho, to VP of toys and games for Nickelodeon Consumer Products. Arocho, previously director of toys and games for the unit, focuses on partnerships and strategies for Nick properties in all toy categories.
Imax Corp. has tapped Anthony Vogels as veepee of international film development. In the newly created post, Vogels is responsible for developing Imax’s international film activities, including pursuing opportunities for local-language film productions. Vogels joins Imax after 15 years with United Intl. Pictures. He also worked for Village Roadshow.
Sara Morgan Moscowitz has joined Syfy as veep of strategic marketing. She joins the cabler from Premiere Radio Networks, where she was senior veep of ad sales marketing. She previously worked as a marketing exec for Discovery Communications and as an account director for Carat USA.
Chad Harris has been upped to senior veep of integrated marketing and new media for Hallmark Channels. Harris was formerly VP of special projects and new media.
BPG has promoted Andy Robbins to chief operating officer, overseeing day-to-day operations of the Los Angeles-based advertising agency. Robbins will also continue to serve as executive veep of interactive.
Gary Rosenson has been upped to senior VP and general manager of Playboy Entertainment Group’s domestic TV unit. Rosenson had been Playboy’s senior veep of affiliate sales and marketing.
