Kennedy/Marshall has upped Adam Yoelin to veep of development. Yoelin is working on two remakes — the thriller “Tell No One,” based on the 2008 French pic, and “The Neverending Story.”Eric Markgraf has been upped to chief marketing officer for Fox Sports Television Group, reporting to Fox Sports chairman David Hill. He oversees the marketing teams for Fox Sports regional cablers, Fuel, Speed and FoxSports.com, among other units. He joined Fox Sports as senior veep of marketing in 2000. Carol Stiff has been upped to VP of programming & acquisitions for ESPN. Stiff’s responsibilities include acquisitions and skedding for a variety of sports on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. She’s been with the cabler since 1990. Shine Intl. has tapped Adam Bialow as VP of business and legal affairs. Bialow most recently served as exec veepee, international business and legal affairs at Lionsgate. Palisades Mediagroup has named Laura Jean Bracken exec veep and chief operating officer. Company has also hired Shelley Watson as senior veep and media director. Bracken comes to Palisades from Omnicom Media Group. Janice Arouh has been appointed prexy of domestic distribution and marketing for Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios Networks. Arouh comes to the company after serving as exec VP of affiliate sales and marketing for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. Lauren Lung has been named veep and g.m. of Kodak’s Entertainment Imaging Division in North and South America. She succeeds Peter Boyce, who has become g.m. for the division’s Europe, Africa and Middle East region. Lung will split her time between the division’s Hollywood headquarters and its Gotham office. Gotham-based National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has named Harvey Seslowsky as exec veep of business development. He’ll be responsible for expanding the corporate partnerships and sponsorships for the academy. Seslowsky previously held senior exec posts at Blockbuster and ABC. David Shaye has joined Evolution Media as its director of development. Shaye was previously an independent producer.
