Spike TV’s partnership with the Grim Reaper continues to flourish.
Cabler has greenlit seasons four and five of “1000 Ways to Die” before season three has even begun.
With the three seasons combined, Spike has now ordered 41 episodes of the half-hour skein from Original Prods.
Thom Beers and Philip Segal are exec producers.
Season three is set to launch Sept. 14. The most recent season ended in February and drew 1.7 million viewers, scoring especially well in men 18-24.
Each episode examines a person’s often bizarre and often untimely demise, complete with a reenactment, testimonial and CGI effects.
