Disney is stocking up on programming for its new Disney Junior channel, ordering a fourth season of preschool fave “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”
Season four, consisting of 13 new episodes and nine “extended specials,” will premiere as a part of the new 24-hour Disney Junior when it launches in 2012.
“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” is in its third cycle, which will continue through 2011. Short-form spinoff “Mickey Mousekersize” is also on tap.
“Clubhouse” focuses on heritage characters Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Pluto and Daisy, all of whom are illustrated via CG animation. “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” appears in 158 territories, and is dubbed into 30 languages.
