Former Fox exec Beth Miyares has joined CBS Television Studios as a vice president of drama development.
News was announced by CBS TV Studios prexy David Stapf. Miyares will report to Julie McNamara, the studio’s senior VP of drama.
“Beth is a talented, well-respected executive who brings experience from many different sides of the business and has a host of fans in the creative community,” McNamara said.
Miyares previously served as VP of current at Fox, where she handled series such as “Fringe,” “Dollhouse” and “Prison Break.”
Her credits also include a stint as director of current programming at UPN, as well as The WB and Susanne Daniels’ First Move Prods. shingle.
