3 Ball execs roll with Eyeworks

Weintraub, Greener add more duties

“The Biggest Loser” shingle 3 Ball Prods./Eyeworks USA’s chief operating officer Ross Weintraub has been made managing director of Eyeworks Distribution, while Adam Greener was named chief creative officer.

The two major structural changes were announced by 3 Ball CEOs J.D. Roth and Todd Nelson.

Weintraub will continue to handle finance and operations for the company, but will also oversee worldwide distribution for 3 Ball’s parent company, Eyeworks.

Weintraub will continue to report to Roth and Nelson, but now also reports to Eyework’s board of directors on the distribution side.

Greener, meanwhile, will oversee creative on 3 Ball’s development and current series. He reports to Roth and Nelson as well.

“Ross Weintraub has been a key factor in the success and explosive growth of 3 Ball over the last few years, culminating in our transition with Eyeworks into a global production company,” Roth said.

Greener has been with 3 Ball for nearly a decade, developing shows such as “The Pick-Up Artist” and the company’s upcoming ABC entry “Obese.”

“Adam has always been a triple threat at 3 Ball, as someone with immense talent and experience in production, development and marketing,” Nelson said.

Besides “Biggest Loser” and “Obese,” 3 Ball’s credits include Fox’s upcoming “Master Chef,” VH1’s “OCD” and “Dad Camp,” E!’s “What’s Eating You?” and Discovery’s “Friday Night Feud.”
