As he absorbed the news of his lead comedy actor nom, Jim Parsons once again marveled at the chemistry that drives CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory.”
Although Parsons won the same category at the Emmys this year, the show itself was snubbed for comedy series, so the Globes nom for the series was particularly gratifying, he said.
“You just don’t know (with a TV show) but anything is possible,” he said. “I knew right away how much I liked working on this character and the work of the writers but it doesn’t always matter (that) people are doing a good job. I didn’t get up until the phone rang because I just didn’t think we wouldn’t be nominated for some reason. There’s something odd and healthy about it.”
