For Chris Colfer, the best thing about working on the phenomenon that is “Glee” is that he’s gained an extended family.
“The best thing about our show is that we’re a huge family despite what the tabloids might say about us,” said Colfer, who earned one of “Glee’s” five noms.
“Jane Lynch is like our cool aunt of the family. Amber Riley’s kind of like a mom of the kids. And we’re all seeing each other in about ten minutes to do some press for the nominations so I’ll probably tackle them.”
The “Glee” gang waltzed through the awards swirl in its first season, but the rigors of award season still take some getting used to.
“I got a call at five in the morning” about the noms, he said. “I call it the ‘someone’s dead’ call.”
