You know the track ‘We Run L.A…’


Now get to know Dr. Hollywood, aka Louie Rubio and Lex Larson, the duo behind the infectious tune, which – at least here in L.A. – was a ubiquitous fixture at pop radio the last few months – in particular 102.7 KIIS, Power 106 and 97.1 AMP Radio.

Ryan Seacrest called ‘L.A.,’ which features Ya Boy, his favorite track – and Power 106’s DJ Felli Fel was a major driving force in getting the song out there by putting in active rotation:

Funny thing? Dr. Hollywood has an EP up in iTunes, but these guys aren’t even signed. Yet their music has already been featured in the shows ‘Bones,’ ‘90210’ and ‘Lincoln Heights,’ as well as Nivea commercials, an HBO Verizon commercial, ESPN and more.

They are currently working their new track “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” ft. Shwayze, and the guys have even been kind enough to offer up some of their latest tracks for free at their official site.
