Good news from the NME: Jim Jarmusch will direct an Iggy Pop documentary.
Jarmusch, who has worked with musicians ranging from Neil Young and Joe
Strummer to Screamin’ Jay Hawkins and the White Stripes, is probably
the perfect guy to put the Stooges front man’s sordid story up on the
Jarmusch has already collaborated with Mr. Pop (as the New
York Times would refer to him): He brought the Ig together with Tom
Waits for a meeting of titans in his 2003 feature “Coffee and
