Tentative five-year pact is pending
National Public Radio employees repped by the American Federation of Television & Radio Employees have reached a tentative five-year contract agreement with management.
The deal, subject to ratification by employees, was reached Friday morning following an all-night bargaining session. NPR president Vivian Schiller disclosed the agreement to staff in an email message, but gave no details.
An AFTRA spokesman said the union would have no comment about the pact until after it’s ratified.
