Kid net Disney XD has greenlit a second season of live-action series “I’m in the Band.”
“Band,” which premiered to strong ratings in February, centers on a teen (Logan Miller) who joins his favorite vintage rock group and hopes to help it make a comeback to its glory days. Production is set to begin in June. Cabler, which programs to boys, will also air a one-hour special to complement the skein. It’s a Laugh Prods. produces. Michael B. Kaplan and Ron Rappaport are co-creators, while Kaplan and Richard Gurman exec produce. Steve Valentine, Greg Baker, Stephen Full and Caitlyn Taylor co-star.
