Big Boi goes solo July 6

almost seven years of silence, OutKast co-founder Big Boi will release his first
solo project since the duo’s 11-times platinum 2003 release, “Speakerboxxx/The
Love Below.” His latest, “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of
Chico Dusty’ will hit
stores June 6.

known as Antwan Andre Patton, Big Boi took his time in the studio — four years
actually — to craft ‘Sir Lucious Left Foot,’ which will be his first release
with Def
Jam. The first single from the
upcoming release, “ShutterBugg,”
synth-heavy dance march,
