Juma Entertainment finds ‘Common’ ground

Company secures rights to Israeli gameshow format

Juma Entertainment has secured rights to the Israeli gameshow format “Common Denominator.”

Format, which Juma is now shopping to networks, follows contestants as they are given the names of two separate people, places or things and asked to name what they have in common. (Steve Jobs and New York, for example, add up to “apple.”)

Juma Entertainment prexy Bob Horowitz picked up the format following a trip to Israel, where Armoza Formats (which holds the show’s rights) is based.

Juma is behind VH1’s “Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch,” CMT’s “The Singing Bee” and TV One’s “Donald Trump Presents The Ultimate Merger.”
