National Public Radio employees repped by the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists have reached a tentative five-year contract agreement with management.
The deal, subject to ratification by the employees, was reached Friday morning following an all-night bargaining session. NPR President Vivian Schiller disclosed the agreement to staff in an e-mail message but gave no details. An AFTRA spokesman said the union would have no comment about the pact until after it’s ratified.
