Off Broadway’s ‘Side of Paradise’

Life stories of Zelda, F. Scott Fitzgerald get musical treatment

“This Side of Paradise,” a new jazz tuner about the lives of Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, will bow Off Broadway later this spring.

Show has music and lyrics by Nancy Harrow, who penned the long-running kids’ show “The Adventures of Maya the Bee.” She co-writes the book with Will Pomerantz, who also directs.

In “This Side” the unstable Zelda takes center stage, as the show follows the Fitzgeralds from their 1918 meeting until Scott’s 1940 death.

No cast has yet been announced for the tuner, which will run April 14-May 9 at Theater at St. Clement’s.
