Mizrahi gives look to ‘Night Music’

Designer helps with production of Sondheim play

Isaac Mizrahi will direct and design a production of the Stephen Sondheim-Hugh Wheeler tuner “A Little Night Music” at Opera Theater of St. Louis in June.

Show reps the helming debut of Mizrahi, who has designed costumes for Broadway productions including “The Threepenny Opera.”

Season at Opera Theater also will include stagings of “The Marriage of Figaro,” “Eugene Onegin” and new opera “The Golden Ticket,” based on “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The St. Louis incarnation of “Night Music” runs June 6-19.
