Jennifer Jason Leigh joins Stiller on Broadway

Actress to play mistress in 'House of Blue Leaves'

The upcoming Broadway revival of “The House of Blue Leaves” has founds it Bunny, with Jennifer Jason Leigh signed on for the role of the main character’s mistress in John Guare’s play.

Ben Stiller and Edie Falco are already set to topline the production helmed by David Cromer (“Our Town,” “Brighton Beach Memoirs”), with Stiller as the show’s zookeeper protag and Falco as his wife.

Leigh has appeared in “Cabaret” and “Proof” on Broadway and more recently on Off Broadway in the New Group’s 2005 production of “Abigail’s Party.”

Further casting remains to be announced for the play, which first ran in New York in 1971.

Scott Rudin (“The Book of Mormon”) produces “House of Blue Leaves,” which begins previews April 4 ahead of an April 25 opening at the Walter Kerr Theater.
