John Larroquette will give Broadway a try in spring, co-starring in the upcoming revival of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”
Larroquette, who recently appeared Off Broadway in “Oliver Parker!” and is best known for his role in TV skein “Night Court,” will play the bigwig honcho of the World Wide Wicket Co. opposite Daniel Radcliffe, playing the young striver scheming his way to the top.
“How to Succeed” is the second Main Stem tuner revival from the team-up of Broadway Across America with producing pair Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, following current offering “Promises, Promises.”
“Promises” has posted robust sales thanks in part to a toplining stint from another face familiar from TV, Sean Hayes, who co-stars with legit fave Kristin Chenoweth.
“Promises” helmer Rob Ashford will direct and choreograph “How to Succeed.” Joseph Smith, Michael McCabe and Candy Spelling also are among the producing team.
The revival of the 1961 tuner, which has a score by Frank Loesser, begins previews Feb. 26 ahead of a March 27 opening at the Hirschfeld Theater.
