‘Caveman’ heads for Off Broadway

Play is longest running solo in B'way history

Rob Becker’s “Defending the Caveman,” which became the longest-running solo show in Broadway history when it played there in 1995, will get an Off Broadway run next month.

New staging of the men-are-from-Mars, women-are-from-Venus show will star Paul Perroni in an outing produced by Theater Mogul in association with Entertainment Events.

Caveman” will run Feb. 23-April 18 at the Downstairs Theater at Sofia’s, former home to Off Broadway long-runner “Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding.”
