Broadway League taps officers

Libin, Scandalios and Parker join board

Gotham legiters Paul Libin, Nick Scandalios and Alecia Parker have been elected to leadership positions on the Board of Governors for the Broadway League, the trade association of Rialto producers and presenters.

Libin, VP and producing director of theater-owning and producing org Jujamcyn Theaters, is chair of the board while Scandalios, exec VP of landlord-producer Nederlander Org, serves as vice chair. Parker, exec producer of “Chicago,” is secretary-treasurer.

Board, made up of about 45 producers and presenters, was previously topped by general manager Nina Lannan, who served a two-year term as chair.

The board of governors and the exec committee are among the leadership bodies of the League, which negotiates with labor unions for Broadway and other legit contracts, among other duties and initiatives.
