David Duchovny will make his Gotham stage bow in “The Break of Noon,” the Neil LaBute play that will get its world preem at Off Broadway’s MCC Theater.
Production, helmed by Jo Bonney, bows in New York this fall ahead of a run early next year at the Geffen Playhouse, which co-produces with MCC. Duchovny is only on board for the Gotham leg.
Thesp (“Californication,” “The X-Files”) will star as a man who finds God after he’s caught in an office shooting.
Play kicks off perfs at the Lucille Lortel Theater Oct. 28 ahead of an opening date to be announced.
L.A. engagement begins perfs Jan. 25 and opens Feb. 2.
