Voting set to begin Wednesday for SAG Awards

Actors encouraged to vote online

Voting for the 17th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in six film and nine TV categories will open Wednesday with the mailing of postcards to the entire active membership of SAG — nearly 100,000 actors.

The official election teller, Integrity Voting Systems, announced Monday that Internet eBalloting is encouraged. Paper ballots will be made available only upon request, which must be made by Jan. 14.

All votes must be received at Integrity Voting Systems by noon on Jan. 28, two days before the ceremonies at the Shrine Exposition Center.

Nominees were announced Dec. 16.
