Moses named co-president, ups Pekurovskaya

Universal Pictures has made a series of key moves in its marketing department including upping 11-year U veteran Michael Moses to co-president.

In his new post, Moses will be involved in all areas of the department and will oversee publicity, digital marketing and creative services and promotions. He will report to department prexy Eddie Egan, and together they will manage 104 staffers.

Studio has also promoted Maria Pekurovskaya to exec VP and head of creative advertising, where she will oversee newly appointed senior VPs of creative advertising Jackson George and Scott Abraham. She will also report to Egan.

“Michael is an incredibly gifted strategist,” said Egan. “I trust his instincts and know he has the creative capacity and the experience to help me lead this team.”

U has also hired Overture Films exec Jackson George who will serve as senior VP of creative advertising for the studio.
