Duo will continue to work on Weinstein films

A pair of PR execs at the Weinstein Co. are moving to praisery ID — where they’ll still work on campaigns for TWC releases.

Dani Weinstein, the Miramax/TWC veteran who moves to ID with colleague Sara Serlen, will lead ID’s New York film department, where duties will include campaigns for TWC fall pics including “The King’s Speech,” “The Tillman Story,” “Miral” and “The Company Men.”

Shift occurs in a tumultuous year for TWC, which has made news in recent months with a debt-restructuring deal and a failed bid to acquire Miramax. TWC is expected to hire a rep for corporate PR soon.

At ID Weinstein will be a senior veep, as will current ID staffers Carrie Byalick, Jodi Gottlieb and BeBe Lerner, who have all gotten promotions. Serlen joins as veep.New hires Randi Peck and Rhett Usry also have signed on in the New York office, with Peck tapped as veep of entertainment and brand strategies and Usry on board as senior publicist with a focus on music and talent.

Founded in 1993 by Kelly Bush, ID has offices in L.A., New York and London.
