Tribeca sets dates

Tenth edition to unspool April 20 - May 1

The 2011 installment of the Tribeca Film Fest has set its dates, with the 10th edition unspooling April 20-May 1.

Tribeca also announced its series of entry deadlines for all films. Once submissions open Sept. 13, the early deadline for features and shorts is Nov. 5, the “official” deadline Dec. 10 and the late cut-off pegged for Jan. 10.

Lineup for Tribeca has expanded and contracted over the years, with the 2010 outing screening 85 features and 47 shorts. Fest alums that have since been picked up include Alex Gibney’s Eliot Spitzer doc, to be released by Magnolia Pictures, and Dana Adam Shapiro’s “Monogamy,” recently snagged by Oscilloscope Laboratories.
