‘Transformers,’ ‘Lost’ top Razzies

Annual awards 'honors' worst of decade

The day before Oscar noms, the Golden Raspberry Awards announced their nominations for the worst of the year and the decade.

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” nabbed seven Razzie noms for worst film, worst director for Michael Bay, worst screen couple (expanded to include both Shai LeBouf and Megan Fox or LeBouf and any Transformer), worst supporting actress, worst screenplay and worst remake/rip-off.

“Land of the Lost” also took home seven noms, including nods for Will Farrell, who was “honored” as worst actor and worst screen couple (which included almost anyone that shared screentime with the actor). The B.O. disappointed was also nominated for worst picture, director, remake/rip-off, screenplay and supporting actor for Jorma Taccone as Cha-Ka.

The Razzies also honored the best of the worst of the decade. The worst pic nominations include “Battlefield Earth” (2001), originally scored 10 Razzies when it was first nominated, Tom Green’s “Freddy Got Fingered” (2001), the Bennifer (remember that?) vehicle “Gigli” (2003), Lindsay Lohan starrer “I Know Who Killed Me” (2007) and the Guy Ritchie disappointment “Swept Away” (2002).

Created in 1981, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation is made of over 650 journalists, movie fans and industry execs. Winners will be announced on March 6, the night before Oscars.
