Thesp’s in a ‘Rush’ for Columbia

Dania Ramierez signs on for 'Premium'

“Heroes” star Dania Ramirez has nabbed the female lead in Columbia Pictures’ action-thriller “Premium Rush” opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

David Koepp is directing the pic from a screenplay he penned with John Kamps.

Story centers on a New York bike messenger pursued by a dirty cop who is desperate to get his hands on an envelope picked up by the messenger. Gavin Polone (“Zombieland”)is producing. Lensing begins in mid-July in New York.

Ramirez, whose bigscreen credits include “X-Men: The Last Stand,” will next be seen in HBO’s “Entourage.”She is repped by ICM, manager Jeff Morrone and attorney Patti Felker.
