At least one guest at the Aug. 24 preem of Lionsgate’s “The Last Exorcism” hoped it wasn’t truly the last of Hollywood’s possessed pics. “I’m looking forward to being horrified,” Quentin Tarantino said on the ArcLight red carpet.
“It’s the first of the last exorcisms for me, I hope!” said star Patrick Fabian.
Filming the pic had its frightening moments, too, Fabian said. Co-star Ashley Bell gave him the heebie-jeebies on the set. “I’m a good actor, but I’m not that good of an actor,” Fabian said. “She creeped me out legitimately.”
Producer Eli Roth, who recently recovered from a sea urchin injury, is already thinking of how to terrify future auds. “I saved the sea urchin pin,” joked Roth. “I’m going to use it as a weapon in a horror movie one day!”
