‘Tenants’ gets Tribeca home

Oscar winner in short films lineup

The lineup of short films selected to play at the 2010 Tribeca Film Fest include Joachim Back’s 2010 Academy Award-winning film for Best Live Action Short “The New Tenants.”

“Tenants,” written by David Rakoff and starring Vincent D’Onofrio, is among the 47 narrative and documentary shorts playing in six thematic categories. There are a record 21 world premieres, including “Bastard,” directed by Kirsten Dunst. She penned the script with Sasha Sagan.

Other directors include Ken Jacobs, Max Hoffman, James Cromwell and Joshua Bell, while the roster of actors includes Anthony Hopkins, Harry Dean Stanton and Lukas Haas.

Tribeca runs April 21-May 2.
