Summit announces several ‘Twilight’ vampires

Anderson, Fisher among 'Breaking Dawn' additions

More than a dozen thesps have joined the cast in a variety of roles in Summit Entertainment’s “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.”

Bill Condon is directing “Breaking Dawn,” based on the final tome in the series, in two parts. Book centers on the mortal Bella marrying the vampire Edward, and Bella giving birth to a half-vampire, half-human daughter, Renesmee.

Summit’s splitting the final film in two, with the first set to open Nov. 18, 2011, and the final on Nov. 16, 2012. Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Meyer are producing, with scribe Melissa Rosenberg adapting each installment.

Tracey Heggins and Judi Shekoni have been tapped as members of the Amazon coven, among the oldest vampires in the world and descendants of an ancient Amazonian tribe.

The Egyptian coven will be portrayed by Omar Metwally (“Munich”), Andrea Gabriel (“Lost”), Rami Malek and Angela Sarafyan; the Irish Coven comprises Marlane Barnes (“The Tree of Life”), Lisa Howard and Patrick Brennan.

The Romanian coven will be played by Noel Fisher and Guri Weinberg (“Munich”). That coven was the ruling vampire family until unseated by the Volturi.

The American Nomads are made up of Lee Pace (“Pushing Daisies”), Toni Trucks, Bill Tangradi, Erik Odom and Valorie Curry while Joe Anderson will be part of the European Nomads.
