Splatterfest at ‘Saw 3D’ premiere

Fans lobbying works for Dr. Gordon

Although the cast and crew gushed about the final installment to the Lionsgate gore fest, no blood soaked the “Saw 3D” red carpet at the Chinese on Oct. 27.

“The fans are the ones that really campaigned heavily to bring Dr. Gordon back,” Cary Elwes said of reprising his “Saw” role. “So, I mean, you have to respond to your fans.”

Several alums came out to see the latest “Saw,” including Sean Patrick Flanery, Tobin Bell, Betsy Russell and Costas Mandylor. They knew what to expect splatter-wise, but newcomer Anne Lee Greene said she almost got sick during shooting. Still, she couldn’t wait to view the pic. “I’m looking forward to seeing Sean Patrick Flanery in the movie, because I used to have the biggest crush on him from ‘The Boondocks Saints,’ ” Greene said. “So, I’ll be a happy Asian after I see that scene.”
