Tom Rothman, co-chairman and CEO of Fox Filmed Entertainment, and Rob Friedman, co-chairman and CEO of Summit Entertainment, have signed on to keynote separate days of Variety’s two-day Film Marketing Summit.
The program, Oct. 5-6 at the Hilton Universal in Los Angeles, focuses on theatrical marketing trends and challenges, and the keynotes are themed “Masters of Innovation.”
Rothman, who manages all feature film and TV production, marketing and global distribution with co-chair and CEO Jim Gianopulos, will headline the program on Oct. 5. Friedman, who heads Summit along with Patrick Wachsberger, will headline the Oct. 6 session.
Gordon Paddison, of global marketing firm Stradella Road, partnered with Variety in developing the film marketing program.
