Horror film specialist Robert Englund is staying seriously busy.

He’s in the midst of portraying the title character in Verdi Corrente Prods. “Inkubus,” which has started lensing in Providence, Rhode Island. Englund’s racked up over 120 credits — including eight as the original Freddy Krueger — and has no intention of stopping work any time soon.

“I get offered all kinds of horror roles but this one leapt off the page at me,” he said in an interview Thursday from the set. “I called my agent right back just because the script was so fresh and claustrophobic. I’m sort of combining Terrence Stamp and Klaus Kinski.”
