Party in a box

'Buried' premieres in New York

For a movie that features a single actor in a single place, Lionsgate’s “Buried” received an A-grade New York premiere last night, as the Cinema Society feted star Ryan Reynolds, director Rodrigo Cortes and friends at the SoHo Grand Hotel.

“I wanted everyone to leave the theater four pounds lighter,” Cortes said of his pic, which finds Reynolds trapped alive in a coffin in Iraq during the summer.

Reynolds joked that their might be a sequel. “Yeah, it’s going to be called ‘Cremated,'” he revealed. Reynolds blanked when asked about the release date.
