Mandalay Vision hires top exec

Justice to serve as senior V.P. of development

Brand new production company Mandalay Vision has made its first big exec hire, kickstarting the company’s New York office. Hardy Justice, formerly of Scott Rudin Productions, will serve as senior veep of development and production and be headquartered in Gotham. Mandalay Vision, an independent company staked by Mandalay Entertainment group, launched early this year.

Prior to Rudin, Justice worked for Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Productions.

Mandalay’s slate includes Annette Bening/Julianne Moore starrer “The Kids are All Right;” “Salvation Boulevard” with Greg Kinnear and Pierce Brosnan; and “Soul Surfer,” which stars Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt and will be released through Sony’s Affirm Film division.
