DiCaprio's Appian Way is producing film
Virginia Madsen has joined the cast of Warner Bros.’ medieval thriller “Red Riding Hood” as the mother of Amanda Seyfried’s character.
Catherine Hardwicke is directing the supernatural thriller that also stars Lukas Haas, Shiloh Fernandez, Julie Christie and Gary Oldman. David Leslie Johnson (“Orphan”) wrote the script, which is set in a village haunted by a werewolf.
Warner’s has set a March 11 release date. Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way banner is producing and he’s a producer along with Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Michael Ireland and Alex Mace.
Madsen was last seen in “The Haunting in Connectict” and is starring in ABC’s dramedy “Scoundrels.”
